KFUM Oslo vs Ull/Kisa by 20Legend
KFUM Oslo has been a team that has been well known for their beautiful way of playing football over the years in the lower divisions. However, it was not many experts that expected their style to give a lot of points in OBOS-Ligaen when they got promoted last season. Despite all the doubtfulness from the outside, the club itself have not been affected at all and actually impressed so far. They have occupied the 10th place at the moment after 3-3-4 which has given 12 points. That makes them the best newcomer in the league at the moment and it has a lot to do with their recent performances (2-0-1).
After crushing Levanger (5-0) at home two weeks ago, it was all down to earth in their last match against Sandnes Ulf (6-2). It is one of the most difficult away games of the season, but Sandnes Ulf has struggled which gave KFUM Oslo some hope prior to kick off. The hope quickly vanished in the first half as Sandnes Ulf took complete control and scored three before halftime. KFUM Oslo got back with 3-1 early in the second half, but the hosts answered with two new goals. KFUM Oslo then got back to 5-2, before Sandnes Ulf finished the game off with their sixth goal after 64 minutes. It was KFUM Oslo’s worst game of the season and it showed how big the difference is when the experienced opponents have their day. Midfielder Christoffer Dahl (9/2) is returning after serving a suspension against Sandnes Ulf, while defender Jorgen Hammer (7/0) is still injured.
Ull/Kisa continues to struggle at rock bottom in OBOS-Ligaen and it does not seem to be any way out for them this season. 1-3-6 is the tough facts for the club which only leaves them with six points from 10 games. The newcomers were expected to struggle as much as they do, but they have several unlucky losses of points from their first games though. Injuries on their best striker Espen Standal has given them an extra challenge to handle.
A small club with little resources cannot afford that to happen, which makes it very impressive on how the players have performed so far despite the few points. Ull/Kisa has scored in all their games except one and they have given better opponents a great fight in all of them. Only two teams have beaten them with more than one goal this season which tells a lot about the fighting spirit the players are showing. They got a point from their last game as well against Jerv (1-1). Ull/Kisa took the lead after 39 minutes and seemed to have control during the second half. However, Jerv came back with another goal from their goal getter Dennis Antwi after 74 minutes which finished the game at 1-1.
KFUM Oslo is certainly the team that has impressed the most of the newcomers in terms of getting points this season. Ull/Kisa will struggle in the bottom half all season as it seems for now as their level is just not good enough. Their constant defeats by one goal are not only because of unluckiness, but also lack of skills. The home team has coped better with the level and is expected to be the better team here as well.
Ull/Kisa is a tough team to break down and they often score despite losing as mentioned earlier. Ull/Kisa must continue fighting in order to collect some points in the bottom which automatically makes them a threat in every game. It should be an interesting match in which I expect at least three goals to be scored. These games are vital for both of the newcomers in what is going to be a long season which should give motivation for creating chances for both teams. Over 2.5 goals seem like the ideal pick in this game.
