Juventus vs Milan by Enzo
Juventus did what was needed in their previous game played in Serie A, as the team welcomed Roma and took a narrow 1:0 victory without much of problems. They entered the match well, with a goal in fourteenth minute via Higuain, but from that moment on, left the ball possession to their visitors and were trying to be more threatening mostly via counter attacks.
Players of Roma had the ball to their feet, but didn't do much with it, while Juventus remained more threatening side for sure, but also standing well in the defense. It was their third consecutive victory as the team now has seven points more than their clossest followers from Roma and the atmosphere inside the locker room can't be much better since they look like sure favorites for another Serie A title.
Juventus is set to play in 4-3-1-2 formation, most likely with Dybala and Higuain as forwards, plus Pjanic as central offensive midfielder. Central defender Leonardo Bonucci (12/1) and right back Dani Alves (8/1) remain sidelined for this one. Mario Mandzukic will most likely start the game from the bench later in the clash.
Milan, on the other side, entered a bit negative perior in last couple of weeks, as the team firstly lost to Roma away from home, but then didn't manage to get a victory in front of own fans against in-form Atalanta staying to only a goalless draw. Despite more of the ball possession, players from Bergamo were actually those who were slightly more concrete and home team should be content with the draw based on what we've seen on the field. Milan is now at fifth position, but just two points below second placed Roma.
Players from Milano will be playing in 4-3-3 formation with Suso and Bonaventura on the wings, plus Bacca as central striker. Their flight was delayed and the club failed to find alternative, so they will have a bit less time to train and adapt to the conditions in Doha. Midfielders Riccardo Montolivo (7/0), Matias Fernandez (4/0) and defender Davide Calabria (4/0) are injured and sit out this one.
Juventus comes from important victory over Roma that ensured them the title as Winter champions, since the team is now seven points ahead of the first followers and huge favorites to win the title in the end. Milan is not close to the title, but their season was a positive one for now, however this match should be too much for them. Juventus is surely a better side, with better form and had more time to get accustomed to the climate in Qatar and I don't see much of problems for them in this one.
