Inter vs SJK by Vicked
Finland Veikkausliiga and opening round in Turku, where Inter is facing SJK. Both teams has a good chance to be in the top3 after the season but still must be said that SJK is the only team who can challenge HJK, and the only one who are expected to do so. Home team Inter has got up and downs in the training season and in the leaguecup, mostly because of that even they have a good individuals in the team, there was too much changes in the team after last season. They lost Mathias Lindström, Irakli Sirbiladze, Tamas Gruborovics, Ville Nikkari and Severi Paajanen.
But they have managed to sign good players too, and the goalie duo of them is maybe the best in the whole league while Jukka Lehtovaara came to club and they already had one of the best keepers around Magnus Bahne. Also Vahid Hambo, who has been on fire at the winter season scoring lot of important goals for them. Also there is Petros Kanakoudis who has played over 100games in Creece supeleague and Eric Matokoulta with same amounts of experience but in Belgiums league.
So you can say, that they have been found few really good players for them. Today they still will miss some of those, while Hambo is suspended and their another main striker Guy Gnabouyou is injured, so there might be a small problems in the attack for them. But must be said that there still is Mika Ojala and Henri Lehtonen, who will be the main mans to Inters success.
Last season was SJKs first in the Veikkausliiga, and they already finished to 2nd place. They do not fear no one and they have a big trust in their own thing. Their target for last season already was to win the league, and must be said that you don't often see that kind of plans with team who has just won the promotion, and still everybody knows that there i a chance that they can do it. And now they are the biggest challengers of HJK.
SJK is starting the season with best possible situation while the whole squad is fit, so there will be lots of options available for coach Simo Valakari. SJK also has been able to improve their team from last season. They have signed attackers Tuco from Fc Lahti and Bahrudin Atajic from Celtic, specially Atajic has shown quite promising games at the winter. And when you add there also Jarno Parikka, who was the best scorer in LeagueCup with six goals, SJK has a lot of firepower upfront.
Also they have been able to sign few really big players like Mehmed Hetemaj, Jussi Vasara. And the defence of SJK is once again going to be really good. Goalkeeper Aksalu is one of the best keepers in league and cordinates the defence really good, and when there is players like Pavle Milosavljevic, Richie Dorman, Zeljko Savic and Cedric Gogoua in the line, there will be no easy goals in the net of SJK.
Even thought this is going to be a tough first match for both sides, i believe that SJK has quality to take all three points from Turku. Specially when both Inters main strikers are out from the game, and SJK is has the full strenght with them, there will be no reason why the HJKs challengers shouldn't manage to take away win. Specially when the odds is over 2 to away win, its something that i have to try.
