Inter vs Lazio by Enzo
Inter managed to take important 1:0 victory away from home against Sassuolo last weekend and it needs to be said that they actually deserved that three pointer. They were better for the most of the game, have kept more of the ball possession and the result was fair, even though maybe Sassuolo deserved to score as well, however away victory wasn't questionable.
Only goal was scored at the start of the second half via Candreva, while players of Sassuolo tried to react however without success, while visitors stood playing with a man less towards the end of the game when Melo got second yellow card. It could be said that Inter plays well in recent weeks, having three victories in last four competitive matches. Inter is now at seventh position with twenty-seven points earned, which is six less than Europa League placed Milan and the team needs to continue winning in order to catch up with the others.
Inter should be playing in 3-4-2-1 formation with Icardi as central striker, plus Eder and Perisic as offensive midfielders. Midfielders Joao Mario (14/1) and Felipe Melo (5/0) are suspended. Injured remains defensive midfielder Gary Medel (10/0).
Lazio, on the other side, comes from a 3:1 home victory over Fiorentina last weekend, in one of more interesting matches of the week. The game itself was quite an open one from both ends and it could be said that the hosts were a bit lucky to walk away with a three pointer with that result.
Keita brought them into the lead in 23rd minute, while Biglia doubled up the lead from the penalty spot in fourth minute of additional time in the first halftime. Viola was better in the second halftime and reduced the deficit in 65th via Zarate, even missing a penalty prior to it, while the home team managed to seal the victory in 90th minute with a goal from Radu, while the visitors were pushing for an equalizer. Team from Rome is now at fourth position actually sharing third with Napoli and only a point behind second placed Roma, meaning that they need to get away with something here in order to keep up with the leading teams.
Lazio should be playing in 3-5-2 formation with Keita and Immobile as strikers. Simone Inzaghi is almost sure to field pretty much the same team as against Fiorentina. Midfielder Marco Parolo is back after skipping previous match.
Both teams seem to be in quite a decent form, especially in attack and I'm more than positive that we will be watching one of more interesting matches in this month. Surely both teams should be quite attacking here and searching for all three points, something that should spice up the game from the start.
