Horsens vs Nordsjaelland by Meese
Horsens couldn't manage to get more out of the match away to Brondby, as the side suffered 2:0 defeat facing up against simply way more stronger side. It was an open match and the visitors also had their chances, but the question of winner didn't look like in doubt, even though the players of Brondby only opened the scoreline in 61st minute via Larsson, while Kliment sealed the final 2:0 result in first minute of additional time after the players of Brondby missed the penalty kick.
It was third game without a victory for Horsens, but it needs to be said that they are actually doing fine, coming from previous draws against Aalborg and Copenhagen. The team now stands at fifth position with just three points less than second placed Hobro and are surely satisfied for now with their appearances. At home they had two victories and a draw, surely aiming for another positive outcome in front of own fans.
Defender Mathias Nielsen (no performance so far) and midfielders Lasse Kryger (3/1) and Peter Nymann (no performance in the new season also) won't be playing here due injuries.
Nordsjaelland, on the other side, is also enjoying start of the season as the team currently keeps the leading position with six victories and just one defeat in first seven rounds, being four points ahead of second placed Hobro and maybe more important, having five points more than third placed Brondby and nine points more than seventh placed Copenhagen which is still favorite to win the title in Danish Superliga.
In the most recent match, they impressed a lot winning at home over Copenhagen 3:0 two weekends ago. They simply looked like a side that were more in-form, moved the ball much better and overall, had more concrete chances overall. They took the double lead in the first halftime via Donyoh and Macrondes, while the guests stood playing with a man less at the start of the second halftime which made the job even easier for the hosts which sealed the victory via Asante in 83rd minute.
Defender Emiil Damgaard (no performance so far) is slowly coming into the training session after injury, but the game should come too early for him. Defender Pascal Gregor and midfielders Martin Frese and Lasse Petry are long term absentees, all three without playing so far in the season.
- Horsens have failed to win any of their last 3 matches.
Overall, this match should be a very open one from both sides. Horsens does well in front of own fans and especially look decent in attack at home, while teh players of Nordsjaelland surely aim for another three pointers while they alone are able to score three here. First choice will remain with goals in this one.
