Granada vs Getafe by Neuro
Granada has nothing left to play for after they ensured their status in Primera while Getafe still have hopes for Europa League exit if they will finish to ninth position, as Malaga and Rayo Vallecano which are both above them, probably will not entitled to participate in Europe next season.
In the last game Granada did not had a very good performance and received enough pressure from Valencia and finally lost away with the score of 1:0. Although this result halted a run of five unbeaten matches (three wins and two draws), Granada celebrated as they maintained their league status being five points away from relegation zone.
Min goalkeeper Toño, main defender Iñigo López (23 games, 1 goal), sub midfielder Hassan Yebda (2 games), midfielder Dani Benítez (9 games, 1 goal) and striker Carlos Aranda (28 games, 1 goal) are all left out of squad, while valuable midfielder Yacine Brahimi (26 games) returns after long term injury.
Getafe was not threatened in the first half against Rayo Vallecano. To the second half they took an early lead with a goal from Rafa but they were quickly accepted the equalizer. Finally they received a second goal in injury time and lost with the score of 2-1. With this result Getafe completed three successive defeats and five in the past six games, but they remain with motivation as under conditions they can still get the European ticket if Malaga and Rayo Vallecano will be punished from UEFA.
Getafe wants a better result than Seville and if they can secure a European ticket, the season would be perfect for them as their coach Luis García stated. Out of action remains right back Miguel Torres (21 games), defensive midfielder Borja Fernández (16 games, 1 goal) and striker Adrián Colunga (22 games, 6 goals), while valuable midfielder Abdel Barrada (32 games, 4 goals) got an injury and will stay out, defender Fede Fernández (14 games, 1 goal) is suspended, the same goes on for striker Angel Lafita (26 games, 2 goals).
Granada is in a state of euphoria just cause their were saved from relegation and will seek to exploit over Getafe being more relaxed and without anxiety, while Getafe has to attack to take all three points. I think that this will be a very open game with lot of opportunities to score from both sides.
