Granada vs Deportivo by DamirJ
Granada didn't start the season very well, although in comparison to their squad quality, they couldn't do much better. Season opener saw them losing to Rayo on the road 0:1, while they drew at home with Sevilla 1:1 although the guests were with a man down since 34th minute. Finally, they lost to Real Madrid away from home 3:0 in a game the margin could have been far greater in the favor of their opponents.
In those three matches it was obvious that they lack quality in offensive part of the team, also creativity in midfield and that they barely enter the goalscoring chances during ninety minutes. Situation is pretty clear for them, if they continue performing like that - they can't expect anything better but relegation battle this season. Hosts will be without important central defender Borja Gomez who is suspended due his red card in previous match, against Real Madrid.

Deportivo is standing at the sixth position in the Primera after a win and two draws and are heading into the weekend against the opponents that are already struggling at the bottom. Start of the season have been fairly well for Deportivo, but in case of losing in Granada everything is going to look much different for them.
Good start for them, with 2:0 win over Osasuna at home, 3:3 draw at Valencia and 1:1 draw at home against Getafe, but more important than these two draws is that Deportivo looked really well in both matches, being the better side in both matches, having more chances to score the winning goal and finally having the more of ball possession. Importance of this game is very big for Deportivo, as they will face up tough schedule in next week with Sevilla coming to La Coruna next weekend and then visit to Real Madrid is in front of Deportivo players. Having that in mind, surely they are focused to get as positive as possible result here. No injury worries for guests as even long injured central defender Ze Castro is available again and included for this trip.
There is no reason for Granada to be favorites in this game, especially if you take into consideration that Deportivo was much better team in both matches they drew this season (away to Valencia and home against Getafe) and therefore odds represent good value in this case.
