Genk vs Beveren by Isaiah
Genk finally got a result away to Anderlecht after lot of years, winning the point of a tie (2-2). They were in front of the score twice, but received lot of pressure to the second half and fairly equalized from the hosts. Generally things are going really better for Genk as time passes, and they remind the good old team of 2008. With the latest additions, their roster is rich and complete, and i think that they will start rising to the league table.
In the last days of the transfer window they lost key striker Bedeke (Aston Villa), but acquired by Zulte Waregem Brain Hamalainen, the exceptional striker Benjamin de Ceulaer (Lokeren) who already scored against Anderlecht, also striker Glynor Plet from Twente. Next Thursday, in the first group match of the Europa League, they will host the Hungarian Videoton.
Good news for their squad for tonight's match, as main striker Jelle Vosen, the key striker of last season, main defender Jeroen Simaeys and Israeli striker Elyaniv Barda are all back to the squad after long term injuries. Defender Anele Ngcongca, left-back Derick Tshimanga and defender Torben Joneleit are all still out. Genk will be lined up with their usual 4-4-2, with Vosen and de Ceulaer in front line.

Beveren finally took their first three pointer in the home match against Cercle Brugge, winning fair with a score of 2-0. Newly signed Israeli striker Barak Badash opened the scoring twenty minutes before full time, while the final goal was scored by midfielder Benoit Ladriere, two minutes before the end of the game.
Finally they got their first win and they should be happy, as they have been rewarded for the effort of their players who work hard in training as their coach Gerardo stated. Main midfielder Christophe Lepoint and experienced striker Jurgen Cavens remains out of action due to injury, the same goes on with Mohammad Ghadir. Midfielder Daniel Cruz is back to the squad after injury. Beveren will be lined up with 4-3-3, Mikael Seoudi, Vito Plut and Barak Badash will be in front line.
Genk will play complete in front of their crowd for the first time this season, and they have a great chance to move up to the league table.
