Fulham vs Leeds by Luke
Fulham managed to get important victory last weekend as the team welcomed Preston on Saturday evening and celebrated 3:1 victory without getting into much of problems. They took the lead in 22nd minute with a goal from Aluko and doubled up quite early in the second halftime, in 60th minute via Martin.
Guests managed to reduce in 68th via Barkhuizen, but the players of Fulham sealed the victory in 77th minute with a goal from Kebano. It was third consecutive match without defeat for Fulham, as the side previously drew against Cardiff and won over Bristol City in both away matches. They are now at seventh position with five points less than Sheffield Wednesday, also a game less played, so the team needs to get a victory here in order to stay alive in the promotional race.
Offensive midfielder Lucas Piazon (22/5, loaned from Chelsea) is injured and won't be playing here. Defensive midfielder Thanos Petsos has a calf problem, but offensive Floyd Ayite could return here.
Leeds, on the other side, comes from a 3:1 victory away from home against Birmingham last Friday evening. It was a very important three pointer for Leeds, since the team continues to be inside the play-off zone, but now has reduced the difference in comparison to second placed side Brighton that stands on a direct promotional position, having now seven points less than them.
It was their third victory in last four matches (a draw too) as the side took a better start and took the lead in fourteenth minute via Wood, while the hosts managed to temporarily level up the result in 63rd minute via Gardner, but the guests were once again very determined and replied well with two more goals - in 67th via Wood again and in 81st via Alfonso, despite the fact that the players of Birmingham had much more of the ball possession.
Right defender Lewie Coyle (3/0) is injured, same as defender Tyler Denton who didn't play so far in Championship anyway. Left back Charlie Taylor is fit again and should be getting some playing time soon.
Fulham is on a good run now and they remain favorites, however not as big as the odds suggest at this moment. On the other side, their defensive lineup doesn't look that reliable in order to trust them with a clear victory, so my first betting option for this game will be both teams scoring at least once but also an over 2.5 goals.
