Frosinone vs Parma by Enzo
Frosinone took just a point in away game last weekend when the team visited Venezia, but from what we saw them could have easily gotten even more, since the game itself wasn't that attacking and open one, but the visiting side still did more overall in attack and had better chances.
They were better in the first halftime, but the players of Venezia were the ones who scored the opening goal in 19th minute via Modolo, while the guests deservedly equalized just three minutes later via Ciofani, while the second halftime looked pretty much equal with neither of the teams being willing to risk a lot. The side is now on a run of four matches without defeat in Serie B, as they currently stand at third position with same number of points as Parma and want to a three pointer here as well as promotion to Serie A at the end of the season.
Forward Luca Paganini (3/1) is out injured and won't play in next couple of months either.
Parma, on the other side, comes from third consecutive victory in Serie B, this time winning over Avellino at home with a 2:0 result on Sunday afternoon. They entered the game in the best possible way, scoring the goal in first minute via Di Gaudio, remainig slightly better for the whole game overall.
They weren't passive side since they got the lead and were searching for the second goal, which came only in additional time, as they they scored second in fourth minute of additional time via Insigne, completely deservedly that three pointer. Parma have managed to climb up to the fourth position now, having just a point less than leaders from Palermo and surely wants to keep the momentum.
Experienced central back Valerio Di Cesare (7/2) remains sidelined due suspension.
Parma is in some decent form now, especially in attack and have been doing rather well in their matches on the road. Frosinone surely remains a favorite for this one, but I see both teams being threatening and having enough chances to score at least once since the visitors from Parma will not be coming to defend here.
