Fiorentina vs Tottenham by Enzo
After two straight defeats against Milan and Lazio in January, Fiorentina slowly got back to their good form in next five matches, having three victories and two draws in Serie A. In the most recent game, they won 2:1 over Inter last weekend, again getting back on their third position which will be leading direcetly to Champions League.
However, this time they are eight points away from leaders from Juventus and the team probably finished their title dreams. On the other side, other rivals are just behind them with especially Roma being only two points behind. All three victories in last five games were at home, so there is no doubt that Viola will be looking to get a positive result before going to London. Italian side should be playing in 4-2-3-1 formation with Kalinic as striker and Bernardeschi, Ilicic and Tello as his support. Hosts should only miss defensive midfielder Milan Badelj (16/1) who remain injured. Mathias Fernandez, on the bright side, is available for selection after missing their victory over Inter due suspension.
Tottenham, on the other side, is in a really good form at the moment, as the team comes from their seventh consecutive victory in all competitions (Premier League and FA Cup involved). Most recently, they won over Manchester City away from home, finally getting one victory against a very reputable squad on the road.
Overall, the game didn't have much of offensive moments, but the visiting side proved to be more effective and concrete, scoring goals via Kane and Eriksen, while the Citizens didn't look that dominant and superior as they used us to be in front of their own fans at least. Visiting side should be playing in 4-2-3-1 formation with Heung-Min as striker and Lamela, Eriksen and Chadli as his offensive support. English side continues without central defender Jan Vertonghen (23/0) and forward Clinton N'Jie (7/0), but also without goalkeeper Hugo Lloris (25/0). Their coach Mauricio Pochettino could rest some players, but still will surely field up a really strong side.
Fiorentina is now undefeated in last five competitive games and are finally getting into the right direction again. They are slight favorites and I expect them to attack first, however the English side surely won't stay at the back, so the most logical choice for me would be both teams scoring. The game should be open enough for the bet to be a winning one.
