Rabotnicki vs Tre Penne by Isaiah
Rabotnicki didn't show their best in the first clash as they didn't look concrete or threatening enough, however it's usual for a side that is still early in preparation period. Still, they managed to get pretty much needed victory and even though it's just a narrow one, they have the much needed lead thanks to a goal in 90th minute via Mitrev.
Still, must be said that the victory was fully deserved, as the side looked better and more quality, even though they weren't completely up to the task. With a week more of preparation, with a positive result and with their fans now, I'm quite sure that the hosts will show much more of their competitive spirit and will be way more concrete in attack. Ball possession was completely on their side and the dominance was more clear as the time progressed, obviously being visible that they are a better side, but a side that has much more individual power and energy in their players.
Midfelder Elmas (33/6) won't be playing here in comparison to last season's team. Defenders Najdovski and Shikov could be back for this one.
Tre Penne doesn't have big ambitions in the European matches and could be actually satisfied with a result in the first leg. Even though it's disappointing to concede a goal in last minutes of the match, they were struggling at the back in last quarter of the match and would surely accept this narrow defeat before the match started if they were offered.
With very little done in attack, they know that they can't hope for much in Macedonia, since the team needs to get a victory in order to keep chances and it looks almost impossible knowing their European results in previous years (quite easy two defeats against sides like: Zrinjski, Rad, Dudelange or The New Saints). With their season still far away, it's hard to see the team answering properly away from home this time out.
As in the first leg, I once again believe in Rabotnicki. They lacked more concrete chances in the first leg, however now with the help of their own fans and with a positive result already behind their backs, this should be close to a walkover for the hosts.
