Domzale vs West Ham by 20Legend
Domzale has started their season with two games being played so far. After beating Randomlje (2-0) they got a draw against Krsko (1-1) last weekend. The club has also played both of the previous qualification rounds. First they beat a very weak opponent from Andorra, as Lusitanos (5-2 on aggregate) gave them no problem. Their last round gave them a much tougher opponent, but Shakhtyor.
Soligorsk was beaten with 3-2 on aggregate. It was a very strong achievement by the club that where reckoned as underdogs before the away game in Belarus. West Ham is facing their first real test this summer after many friendlies against different kind of opponents. They started off against two American clubs that ended with a loss against Seattle Sounders (3-0) and a draw against Carolina RailHawks (2-2). A draw against Slovacko (2-2) and another loss against Rubin Kazan (3-0) followed after before the first win came against Karlsruher (0-3) last time out.
A lot of players have been used during these matches and a lot of alterations have also been brought up by Slaven Bilic. Dimitri Payet, Angelo Ogbonna and James Collins have all been rested in the preseason due to participation in the Euro 2016, and they will also be spared tonight. Manuel Lanzini is also out tonight due to an injury he picked up from an international duty with Argentina. Left back Aaron Cresswell will miss out as well because of a knee-injury he picked up against Karlsruher.
However, new and interesting players like winger Sofiane Feghouli, midfielder Havard Nordtveit and midfielder Gokhan Tore are ready for action here. The youngster Reece Oxford is back after been given some extra rest as well.
This is a game were West Ham naturally will be huge favorites. However, it is always challenging to make long journeys and face weaker teams. West Ham will be without some key players, but they still have a strong squad that should make enough trouble to the hosts. Domzale is in season at the moment, while West Ham is building up the players’ form before another tough Premier League season kicks off. I still expect West Ham to get some goals from this match and I find value on them scoring at least one already inside the first 45 minutes.
