Partizan vs Rudar Pljevlja
Partizan practically already has finished the job in this first qualifying round with 3:0 road win in Montenegro. But I have no doubts they will win convincingly one more time, now at home.
This is BTW season premiere for Partizan when it comes to home games. So, they would like to present themselves on good way in front of fans.
As I mentioned last time, Partizan brought plenty of new players during the summer. Most of them showed good in first game against Rudar. Among them also two new strikers, Nikolic from Spartak Subotica as well Gomes who was leading scorer of Portuguese Segunda. Gomes scored great goal in first game against Rudar. Nikolic was good too but he won't play today since he picked up small injury in training. So, if Partizan start today again with two attackers and I don't see reason to be different, then in pair with Gomes would play Ožegović who was starter last season. There are rumors he will leave the club. How I know he wants to stay and no doubt he will give his best today to convince the coach and club officials that he deserves to be here.
Beside mentioned Nikolic, only Jankovic is not available (in fact he is questionable) due to small injury but he in any case wasn't starter in first leg and seems he lost place in starting 11 that he had season ago. If decent offer came across, Partizan would sell him.
As I mentioned in the preview for first game, Rudar is one weak squad. Firstly, championship of Montenegro is pretty much low ranked compared with Serbian. But even for standards of Montenegro, Rudar is nothing special. They were only 6th placed season ago and secured European spot thanks to Cup competition. Few years ago they were good, have won also championship title. But that was while Šarić brothers invested a lot of money. Later when they have been jailed, everything stopped. For a shorth period after that, former Partizan basketball player and after end of his NBA career also president of BC Partizan, Nikola Peković was a main sponsor of Rudar but seems this is now over too.
Compared from season ago most of the starters have left and seems those few who arrived are not too good. So, the big quality difference was visible already weak ago. Partizan was solid but not brilliant and they still easily took the job done.
That being said, everything point out we will see another convincing victory today.
The Asian handicap option -2 seems to me as great choice cause Partizan definitely should win with 2 goals at least. I expect more but in worst case we should have push bet.
