Rudar Pljevlja vs Partizan

Rudar Pljevlja from Montenegro against Partizan Belgrade from Serbia.

IMO visiting team should not face here too tough task. I expect Partizan to win, probably even comfortably. In some hand this is more home game for them than for Rudar.

The match won't be played in Pljevlja but in Nikšić that is well known as the biggest "Serbian" town in Montenegro. It's 5 to 6 k stadium in question, probably crowded all with Partizan's fans today. So, such expected environment is one good start when chances of Serbian team are in question, it will be nice wind in their back.

Last season was very successful for Partizan in Europe. Back then the qualifications for the Champions League started also with meeting with opponent from Montenegro. It was Budućnost. Back then game in Podgorica ended 0:0 but it's worth to mention it was second leg back then and Partizan already was 2:0 up from the first leg at home.

Partizan has changed its squad very much compared with season ago. From what I saw, this should be better team now. Striker Tawamba left or better to say will be leaving in the few days but he is already out. Still, those who arrived as replacement seems reliable. Furthermore, given on the rumors about starting 11 to start today, Janković (member of Montenegro national team) and Tošić (former long time member of CSKA Moscow and the Serbian national team and last season probably the biggest name in Partizan squad) are both on the bench. For me that's the best indicator Partizan made one nice team when currently there is no space for the two mentioned guys.

As for the host, I think they are not good as in some previous season were. After all the results in the domestic league speak for itself. Rudar at one period was champion but later far from being able to take the title. There are rumors how Šarić brothers were(are) the owners of the club. But since they end up in jail with serious charges, seems there isn't anymore enough money invested in the club.

I was reading few days ago about Rudar current squad and seems many players left, some of them who were among more important.

The bottom line, I feel there is big quality gap here and counting also on the above mentioned fact this is first leg and the fact Partizan will feel here as at home, I think we can expect one comfortable win for the Serbian side.

This not simple game is political game. Partizan will struggle much badly then crevna zvezda against poor Lithuanian team yesterday. Check how humble Montenegro team gave fight to Astana and if not controversial penalty shoot
It would be 0:0. And Rukavinas was good for nothing. Serbian teams not ready for season I go +0,5 for radar. 0:0 1:1 1:0 for rudar.

Mate, you can go with what you want, everything is possible, surprises happens in these qualifications. It's not realistic to all games end with underdogs losing. But saying this is political game, that's one big nonsense. The Serbian people and people in Montenegro, that's the same.
