Dynamo Dresden vs Stuttgart by Gustav
Dynamo Dresden might have started the season a bit better than expected at the very beginning, but as the season progresses it looks like the whole team and the club is far away from anything close to a promoting material, at least for this season. They have started with two victories and two draws, but lost the momentum from that moment on, having and suffered three defeats and earned only a point in last four matches they've played.
Even probably more worrying is the fact that they weren't playing against very best sides in the league, but still failed to show something positive. In their previous game, the team suffered 2:0 defeat away from home against Sandhausen, failing to show themseleves in a positive manner. Players of Sandhausen entered the game really strongly, taking the double lead already in first fifteen minutes of the game thanks to goals from Wooten and Kister, leaving the ball possession to their visitors from that moment on and simply being satisfied with the result, they didn't push much more during the match, while Dresden failed to get back into the match and be more concrete in attack despite keeping the ball mostly to their feet.
Defenders continue to miss Landgraf (0/0) and midfielder Konrad (5/0) who is probably out this time.
After a bit clumsy start for Stuttgart early in the season, it seems the team is now completely addapted on playing in 2. BUndesliga and in case they continue in the same manner, there will be no problems for them to obtain promotion and maybe even claim the title this time.
After eight rounds played, they are at third position with five victories, a draw and two defeats, but the team reacted just well in recent game, having three victories and a draw, coming from a really impressive performance in front of own fans when they won over Gr Furth with a 4:0 result two Monday's ago. Mane was the key player for the victory, since the striker has scored two goals within first four minutes, making the job way more easier for the hosts. Pavard added third in 24th, while Gentner sealed the victory with a goal in 80th minute, in the most dominant performance of Stuttgart this season.
Visitors will miss defender Sama (4/0), midfielder Werner (5/0) and forwards Terodde (7/2) and Ginczek (no performance so far in the season).
Dynamo Dresden was recently losing against sides which are far below the quality and the potential of Stuttgart and therefore I see the visiting team winning this one. They seem to be in just decent form at the moment and should be able to take the three pointer even more easier than what the odds currently suggest. Two or three goals margin victory for the visiting team would be no surprise at all.
