Crystal Palace vs Stoke by Shibby
Barclays Premier League action tomorrow in a game that will see Crystal Palace host Stoke City in a game that will kick off at 14:45 and will be played at Selhurst park, London. The hosts for the game head into it as favourites. Although in my opinion, Stoke have a slightly better squad.
Palace won their last fixture 2-1 against Boro (away), their first league win of the season, a much needed one. Palace lie in 13th in the league on 4 points from 4 games, 1 win, 1 draw and 2 defeats. They lost their first 2 games of the season and now seem to have turned things around for the better after a 1-1 draw with Bournemouth and a 2-1 win against Boro.
Pardew hasn't made many impressive signings in my opinion and as I result I think they will have an average season. I thought they would have looked to build on their squad for this season in hope of pushing for a top 8 place. Both clubs have a couple of injuries for some big players, Remy, Cabaye the 2 that will be missed the most for Palace.
The visitors for the game are Stoke City, currently bottom of the table?! Not sure how when you consider their squad! They have some quality players and they just don't seem to have started to the best of their abilities. They drew their first game 1-1 with Boro away, however, since then they have lost 3 in a row vs Man City, Everton and Spurs. Some tough teams and I don't think Mark Hughes can look into this too much as they were tough games.
Stoke need to bounce back though and sooner rather than later! I expect a strong team to be played by Hughes as he will know more than anyone the importance of a result here. He needs to get his players to respond to their last game when they lost 4-0 to Sputs. A poor game all round for Stoke, however, they have the quality to get things on track.
They too have some injuries, however, I don't expect this to make too much difference to the result. I fancy a score draw, however, I think odds of 1.91 for BTTS with Bet365 offers some good value.
