Cork vs Bohemians by Neuro
Cork continues their title race together with Dundalk, as the team comes from impressive 4:0 victory away from home against Dublin, continuing to push Dundalk in that race. Victory came very easily for the visitors, as the players of UCD weren't able to compete with much stronger roster.
Two goals were scored by Buckley in the second half, player who had a very good evening, while the scorers in the first halftime were Gaynor and Dennehy from the penalty spot. Overall, Cork was closer to achieve few more goals, missing some very solid chances in the progress. The team hopes that Dundalk will make another setback in next matches, while the atmosphere remains high in their locker room as the team surely aims for an easy victory tonight. Midfielder Gearoid Morrissey (25 matches, 2 goals) is sidelined with injury for tonight's game.
Bohemians, on the other side, comes from a very open game at home against Sligo, as the teams shared a point each in a 2:2 draw. Visitors took the lead, but the hosts reverted the score with goals from Corcoran and Beattie, just to see them getting equalized eight minutes before the full time whistle.
Overall, it has to be said that Sligo was fortunate to get the equalizer late in the game, while the home side stood with a man less in last moments of it, due exclusion of the Price. Their coach wants to see various system and makes constant changes in order to find the right chemistry for the next season, as the team generally makes constant tests during the recent matches. Midfielder Dave Mulcahy (16 matches, 1 goal) is back into the team, while sidelined remains midfielder Patrick Kavanagh (28 matches, 2 goals) due to injury, with back Price (29 matches, 1 goal) being suspended.
Cork has all the chances to get the victory here and will surely do so. They are in a must win situation, are surely much more stronger side and should have no problems overcoming opponent that already looks for the new season and makes many changes in recent games.
