Charlton vs Fulham by Luke
Charlton didn't manage to make upset in a London derby when the team visited Millwall and got defeated with a 2:1 result. Guests stood with a man less playing in 28th minute, when the players of Millwall also missed the penalty kick and despite numerical disadvantage, visiting side took the lead with a goal from Diarra in 67th minute.
However since then, Millwall somehow took the game more serious, equalized in 79th minute thanks to a goal from Gueye and sealed the victory eight minutes later with a goal from Hooiveld. Coach Luzon wasn't satisfied after the match, saying that the red card surely was a strict decision, while it was impossible for his players to endure the pressure for such a long time, adding that he has no complaints towards his players who gave everything they could on the field. Home side will see at least two changes for today's game, as right full back t Chris Solly serves a one match ban, while midfielder Yoni Buyens completes his second game ban after he collect ten yellow cards this season. Midfielder Callum Harriott is set to miss out again following ankle injury.
Fulham, on the other side, disappointed a bit with their performance on Saturday evening, as the team got defeated with a 1:4 result in another London derby against Brentford at home. Visitors had a double lead after sixty minutes of play, while Fulham got back into the match with a goal from McCormack in 67th, but Brentford responded in the last moments of the game, scoring two goals during additional time.
Their coach wasn't satisfied with how the game developed at all, saying that it's frustrating when things like that happens, as his players played a good football, made steps towards getting back into the game, but the final result simply isn't fair as someone who has not seen the game would feel that the 4:1 result was fair and that his players got crashed. Midfielder and team captain Scott Parker is doubtful for this game after not playing against Brentford, but could be used here in case he recovers in time. Jack Grimmer and Nikolay Bodurov are also doubts after picking up knocks against the Bees, while defender Shaun Hutchinson completes his two match ban. Strikers Hugo Rodallega and Matt Smith are pushing for starts here after recovering from their problems.
Open game, lot's of offensive phases, both teams scoring and over goals are my first choice here. Fulham will be quite relaxed in this one and the game itself should be more than open, at least for sure more than the bookmakers are representing at the moment.
