Barcelona vs Manchester Utd (By: Stanioooo)

Barcelona will host Manchester United at Camp Nou in the 2nd leg of their CL tie.

Barcelona took an advantage after the 1st match, where both teams' players didn't create much in attack. United had 0 shots on target, which is awful for a home game with 7 off target. Barcelona had even less shots, but 3 were on target and one of them turned into a goal during the first half. Messi was neutralized by Smalling during the first leg making a lot of hard tackles against him which led even to a nose injury. Messi is still okay and will take part in this match, but I have the feeling tomorrow he will score a goal for sure.

I wrote a preview about this game last week and will not talk about both teams'performances in their leagues, everyone knows how they are moving in the ranking. Will write a little about their teams. Barcelona have only one important injury and it's connected with Rafinha who is out for the season, but still has a lot of players as replacements. Really want to see Dembele on the place of Coutinho who just can not make the symbiosis with Messi and Suarez, the one Neymar had and I saw much better partnership when Dembele is in the attacking trio. Barcelona rested all of their stars during the weekend, so they will be totally fresh and focused on this important game.

United have a lot to think about before this game- Herrera is injured, while Matic is doubtful without playing in the last few games and I don't expect coach like Ole to risk him from the first minute, so it's expected to see once again Fred, McTominay and Pogba in the midfield zone. Valencia and Bailly are also with low chances to take part in this game, while Luke Shaw is suspended. Sanchez is also a player who will not be risked, so United's starting line-up looks predictable with so many missing or doubtful players.

De Gea- Young,Lindelof, Smalling,Dalot- Pogba,Matic,McTominay- Lingard, Rashford,Lukaku.That's the team I expect to start from the beginning.

The match in Barcelona is expected to be totally different with both teams creating much more chances, especially the hosts. A miracle happened twice this season for United when noone believed they can win as guests to Juventus, then the same story against PSG. I don't think it will happen for third time when United are the big underdogs. I said Barcelona are the main favorite to take the CL trophy during this season and I see a double against United. United have only one zone with better player/s and that's the goalkeeper, in every single aspect Barca have the advantage. I wrote that I expect Messi to score tomorrow for sure and just in case if it happens a win with 1 goal difference for the hosts, I will go with -1.25 AH here, although my expectation is Barca to win exactly with 2 goals difference- 2:0/3:1, so -1.5 AH for the hosts looks also as a good option!

Stannio no doubt barca would take all 3points agreed. I know it would be a slim margin victory,for me, a lone goal would be what would seperate the teams tonight

Nothing is logic after Atalanta last night game against Empoli. Lost big money on Atalanta -1AH. Again.. Absolutely anything can happen in football.

@Dnf You said it. Anything is possible in football. If the Arsenal can win a match away... so can Man Utd. They have nothing to lose and no one is giving them a chance. I remember the comments when Man Utd went to PSG for the return leg!

@Kevin

You forget only one little, but important thing- Barcelona have history and tradition in this tournament, while PSG..yeah, they have money and valuable players, ready to win the trophies in France, but in CL against the best we saw the difference in the eliminational stages.

4:0 against Barca and then 6:1 for Barcelona at Camp Nou. Real Madrid-PSG- 3:1, PSG-Real- 1:2. United-PSG-0:2, PSG-United-1:3

Barcelona are always playing without fear at home in this stage of the tournament, so that's why I expected double against United when the draw finished and I am still thinking the same thing. United just don't have the team right now to stop Barcelona in Spain! I also doubt they will soon be even close as quality of the players to the Spaniards! Ole and DeGea are not enough for this task to avoid the loss tonight.
