Liverpool vs FC Porto (By: MDG)

Liverpool will welcome Porto in second consecutive champions league year. Last year Liverpool and Porto met in 8TH FINALS and it was not a good look for Porto. First match in Portugal finished 0:5 and Liverpool already killed that game on enemy soil, second game was completely irrelevant and it finished as a 0:0 goalless draw.

This year they meet again but now in quarter finals, one step further. Porto had some success against Roma but it was a close game that went to extra time in the second leg. Liverpool are still not done with their premier league in England and they can still become champions. That is probably even more important than winning the Champions league. Their next league game will be in just five days against Chelsea right here at home. It's one of the most important games of the season in the premier league so Liverpool must beat Chelsea in order to stay close to City.

This is one of the reasons why I probably think that Liverpool will try beat Porto in the first half again, they need to rest Salah and Mane for Chelsea. Afer last night's big win for Hazard and Chelsea they are going to be much harder challenge than Porto and if they fail to beat them then City will probably win the league. Last year in Portugal Liverpool had a 2:0 away lead after just 29 minutes. Salah was in a goal drought recently but he finally scored one of the most important goals of the season against Southampton away in Liverpool's last match. Porto missing their key defender Pepe and key midfielder Herrera.

Score prediction: 3:0
