Real Madrid vs Liverpool (By: FairPlayBet)
Real Madrid against Liverpool, Champions League finals. The game will took place in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Real play for it's 13th title in this competition and that would be also the third straight. For Liverpool it would be 6th and the first one since 2005 and amazing comeback they made against Milan.
Opinions are divided about this finals. In reality, the Spanish team should be closer to take this trophy. They are probably slightly better team, they are the side with by many opinions the best world player in last decade (Ronaldo), the bottom line they are the team with much more experience cause most of their guys already were here in previous two seasons and both times won the Champions League.
But Liverpool too has the reasons to believe they can win this. Maybe not their players but as a team Liverpool knows very well what it takes to win games like this. Also, if Real in face of Ronaldo has the best world player in last decade, then IMO Liverpool has the current best in face of Salah.
In any case, we probably could make a case for both of these two teams. Those who bet serious amounts, probably would rather risk with Real Madrid while Real haters are as usual against the greatest football club ever and are convinced Liverpool will become new European champion. Only the draw is the outcome I don't see to be mentioned too often. But have in mind exatly draw usually was profitable in games like this.
As for me, I'll make my choice only through the offered odds. I mean, both teams are able to play with it's best players. Real has no injuries or suspensions while Liverpool has few (Matip, Gomez and Chamberlain) but not even close we can say those are crucial absences.
So, let's go back on the odds and see if we can find value on any side. IMO odds on the Draw are way high. To be clear I am leaning towards Real to win the trophy but odds of 4.00 to game go into Extra Time, I won't skip that.
I mean, with odds like this and in game like this, we would definitely make a profit on the long run. It might turnout not to be profitable this time but in matchup like this, it would give us profit in a long run and that's only what matters in betting - to be profitable on the long run.
From my point of view, no way this is going to be easy path for Real as season ago when they beat Juventus in the finals 4:1.
BTW, even three of the last six Champions League finals went into Extra Time. If we go a little bit further deep in the past and count all finals played in this century, then we would see seven of the seventeen went into Extra Time. The math is easy, if you were betting every time Draw on such 4.00 odds, you would be up in units big time.
