Bursaspor vs Fenerbahce by Isaiah
Bursaspor continued with their poor performances, as the team comes from third straight game without a victory, as they got defeated away to Genclerbirligi 2:0 last weekend. Ball possession was kinda shared between the teams, however home side looked way more concrete and managed to exploit lack of concectration in the visiting team to net two goals within two minutes - in 68th minute via Kulusic, while El Kabih netted the second one in 70th.
After this defeat, Bursaspor dropped down to thirteenth position at the table, but still having eight points more than relegating worried sides, so the team doesn't completely yet feel under pressure. However, they have earned much more points in front of own crowd (16 in comparison to 9), so will surely want to bounce back to positive ways against such a strong and reputable opponent as Fenerbahce is. Hosts will be playing in 4-2-3-1 formation with Necid as striker. His offensive support will be Dzsudzsak, Batalla and Stoch. Tomas Necid returns from suspension, but central midfielder Cristobal Jorquera (12/1) remains out due injury. Forward Sercan Yildrim (12/3) won't play due suspension. Defender Serdar Aziz and left back Emre Tasdemir remain doubtful.
Fenerbahce, on the other side, comes into this game after a 2:0 victory in Europa League over Lokomotiv Moscow on Tuesday evening. They were way better and concrete from the first moment and completely deserved the victory thanks to goals from Souza, in 18th and 72nd minute of the match.
With this victory without a goal conceded, they are now huge favorites to enter the last sixteen phase of Europa League and have every reason to dream about the very ending of the competition. As for domestic league, the team won easily over Kasimpasa last weekened with a 3:1 result at home, three pointer that leaves them at the first position, just a point above Besiktas, so the team remains in a must win situation for this match as well, at least in order if they want to keep the leading position. Fener is set to play in offensive 4-3-3 formation with Nani, Sen and Fernandao as strikers. Left back Hasan Ali Kaldirim (14/1) is suspended, while injured remain defensive Abdoulaye Ba (4/0).
Bursa have picked just one point in last three matches and another negative result here would push them near the dangerous zone. Fenerbahce, on the other side, remain in a must win situation, but their defensive lineup isn't that reliable anymore. I expect them to win, but also their goal to be in danger enough, to reach three goals overall in the game easily.
