Brest vs Tours by Lucien
Brest comes from two very good performances and six points earned out of couple of matches, as the team obviously improved in form and forgot of their ugly streak of three matches without a victory previously. After their latest victory, 2:0 away from home against Lens, their morale is boosted and the side is again leading the table, naturally being a favorite to promote as well.
Their players entered the match against Lens in a better manner, being determind to attack from the off and even though the game wasn't very interesting, they stood as a more mature side and took the lead in 34th minute via Battocchio. Lens tried to react, but without much of success, while the visitors sealed the victory via Joseph-Monrose very later into the match, in fourth minute of additional time. With seven rounds till the end and just three points less than third placed side, there's no doubt that the players of Brest remains in a must win situation for this one.
Tours, on the other side, is one of the most in-form sides at the moment, as the team comes from their third consecutive victory in Ligue 2 now, overall fifth match without a defeat. They won over Orleans 2:1 and Valencciennes 4:0, before the side won over Red Star 3:1 last weekend, again in impressive manner.
It was rock solid performance from the hosts, especially at the start of the game as the team took the lead already in fourth minute via Miguel, while Diarra doubled up the lead in 29th minute. Visitors managed to reduce in 37th via Souza, but once they stood playing with a man less in 56th minute when Demel got red carded, they stood no further chances with Bouanga reaching the third goal during the additional time. Despite a great run, Tours is now just three points above the relegation zone and needs to continue performing this way.
Both teams are playing in a really great form, especially in the offense and I can't see past quite a number of goals here. Brest remains favorite to get the victory and probably will be closer, but with the way Tours plays in attack, I see the visiting team being more than threatening here and it wouldn't surprise me if we see more than just three or four goals scored.
