Breda vs Go Ahead Eagles by Neuro
After an undefeated run of five matches, Breda experienced away defeat against Utrecht with the result of 4:2. After a 1:1 score in the first half-time, the hosts started of much better in the second and gave out probably their best half-time till now in the season. Home side took the victory completely fairly, although the final victory could have been even with higher margin.
Coach Nebojsa Gudelj wasn't that pleased after the game, saying that his team lacked activity on the field saying that they tried even more in the second half, but that their defensive mistakes continued even then, adding that the victory of Utrecht was absolutely fair. NAC Breda continued the season with a rather mediocre record till now, having 3-3-4 record till now and if nothing else, they are still away from the relegation zone and will try to stabilize their performance in next weeks. Their target for tonight's game is getting a victory disregarding the way and climbing up to the upper part of the table in next weeks.
Midfielder Gillissen (5/0) returned to training, but is still not ready for competitive football, same as defender Looms who didn't even play this season. On the bright side, left back Bodor is back into the team.
Go Ahead Eagles, on the other hand, is coming from a 2:2 draw against Feyenoord last weekend and managed to keep the run of undefeated matches in front of their own fans. They were twice back in the scoreline (in 17th and 63rd minute), but managed to find the final response a minute before the full time whistle with fair amount of luck.
However, it has to be said that the visitors were way more superior on the field and missed several chances to clear up the game much earlier. Similar to their opponents tonight, they are also close to the middle of the table with 3-4-3 record, while the most of the points were taken at home where they have two victories and three draws, while the team counts a victory, draw and three defeats away from their own fans. Of course, the target is just to remain in the league and so far they are working well. Visitors are having no fresh injury/suspension worries as their only absentee remains midfielder Spanjaard who didn't perform this season at all. Coach Booy is expect to name unchanged squad from previous game.
No doubt that Breda is much more experienced and more mature squad than Go Ahead Eagles. When we add the fact that the visitors weren't much of a team on the road, victory for the home side seems very likely with great odds.
