Bournemouth vs Norwich by Neuro
Bournemouth continued their good form in Championship with a 5:1 victory in FA Cup on the road against Rotherham last weekend. Their victory was expected, but not in that great style, as the team dominated from the first till last minute, not giving even a glimmer of hope for Rotherham that they can get anything close to a positive result in that game after the first halftime has ended.
This was fourth consecutive victory for them in all competitions, as the team traveled with a conceded goal in tenth minute, but equalized just before the break time with a goal from MacDonald. Much better performance was seen in the second half where the team completely outplayed their opponents with goals from Stanislav, Fraser and two from Kermorgant. As for the league, they are still first with a point more than Ipswich and have to continue winning in order to keep the safe distance from third placed Derby in order to chase the direct promotion. After two goals scored in FA Cup game, Yann Kermorgant is pushing for a start here, while the home side has no particular problems with injuries or suspensions in front of this game.
Norwich, on the other side, didn't get the qualification for the next phase of FA Cup, as the team lost 2:0 on the road against Preston in a game where they were marked as favorites. They actually didn't play that poor, were slightly better opponent during the game, but failed defensive weaknesses in last twenty minutes when they conceded both goals.
They still remain outside of the play-off zone, being now seventh placed side in Championship, with only three points difference to sixth placed Brentford. The team has big problems playing stable during the game and coach Neil Adams resigned after the defeat against Preston, as Mike Phelan is now set to take charge for this match. No doubt that he didn't have time for now to make any change in playing aspect and that this change is more of a confidence thing for now at least. Positive news for the visiting side is that they have no suspension or injury worries in front of visiting table leaders.
Players of Bournemouth are full of confidence at the moment and would be big favorites to get the victory in front of their fans against much better situated sides than Norwich is currently. Odds of 2.00 and above are surely worth a shot on the side that will probably promote this season, in easier or tougher way.
