Bourg Peronnas vs Orleans by Lucien
After a run of four negative results where the players of Bourg Peronnas managed to score only two goals (in one game actually), the team finally broke a bad run and got a 1:0 victory last weekend when they welcomed GFC Ajacccio. Overall, it wasn't that interesting match and the team looked quite evenly balanced, but the home team looked a bit more resilient in attack and therefore got the victory thanks to a goal from Hoggas in 27th minute.
Even though the visitors had plenty of time to respond further on, the team didn't find a way to opponents net. After this victory, Bourg Peronnas is once again a bit safe and away from the relegation battle, being four points aclear from red zone. Having in mind that they are meeting with one of relegating candidates, there's no doubt that the team wants to record another victory and moves even further away.
Orleans, on the other side, can not be satisfied with how the things started for the team in the new season, since the team has only two victories so far, in first thirteen rounds and are already second from the bottom, having only a point more than rock bottom placed Auxerre. At the same time, they are only a point away from safe zone too, but the team will need to improve very soon in order for their chances of easy salvation remain active.
In the most recent game they played last Friday evening, the team managed to get a point in a home clash against Troyes, even though they were losing for the most of the game. Visitors took the lead in seventh minute with a goal from Nivet and simply paid the price of being way too careless later on.
They didn't look much active on the field and allowed ball control to the home team, who was looking better and better as the time progressed - finally till they didn't level up the result in 84th minute via Delclos. Orleans away from home are having terrible record of one point out of six matches and surely that staying undefeated here for them would be a good outcome.
Bourg Peronnas is looking quite decent in home matches, most usually always attacking and scoring goals a bit easier than how other Ligue 2 sides do. I believe that the momentum is clearly on their side now and the team is much closer to obtain all three points than their opponent. I would be really surprised seeing a visiting team scoring here at all.
