Bochum vs Klautern by Gustav
Bochum is coming from a 2:1 defeat away from home against Erzgebirge Aue last weekend. They however, took the lead in third minute and continued attacking for some more minutes, but with meaningless initiative. Their actions were disappointing, while the home side got much stronger into the second half.
Already after five minutes, Aue was leading 2:1 conceding two goals in two minutes time, while the visitors were completely unable to make a respond till the end of the match. This was fifth consecutive defeat for the them, as the team have scored only two goals in those five, showing that they are in all kinds of problems. Although management clarified that they support their coach, it's questionable until when coach Peter Neururer will stay at the bench. In case of no returning to the winning ways in next couple of matches, there is no doubt that the management will have to reconsider their decision, while it started affecting the team's atmosphere inside the locker room. Goalkeeper Luthe is back into the team after being out for last two matches, while defensive Gyamerah returned to trainings but is still not fit to play. Important striker Aydin (10/2) will miss for the second consecutive match, while left back/central defender Butscher (2/1) and left back Bastians (1/0) also miss out for few weeks already.
Kaiserslautern, on the other side, is coming from a 2:2 home draw against Karlsruhe last weekend. From the first minute, players of K'lautern were in charge and much more aggressive on the field and took the lead in 20th minute with a goal from Simunek. However, near the end of the half-time they conceded a goal, while they took the lead in second half once again, but weren't able to keep it, as the visitors showed great performance based on counter attacks.
Still, it has to be said that Klautern deserved much more from that game, being way more consistent side during all ninety minutes, while the visitors scored two goals, could be said, out of nowhere. They remained undefeated for fifth consecutive match, having three victories and two draws. As one of the best teams in the league, they are playing offensively in every game, but should improve their attention at the back and show some more stable performances. Still, the atmosphere in the locker room is good at the moment, while the team continues to be at the upper part of the table, currently fifth after yesterday's matches played. No new injury/suspension worries for the visitors as they continue playing without substitute right back Riedel (2/0) and striker Bunjaku who didn't even perform this season.
Odds are satisfying enough as the difference between two sides is simply huge at the moment. Comparing these two sides, Klautern shouldn't have much problems overpowering the hosts easily tonight.
