Boca Juniors vs Union Santa Fe by Isaiah
Boca Juniors didn't have an easy game against Olimpo Bahia Blanca few days ago when the team took only a point on a Wednesday night in a 2:2 draw away from home. However, must be said that they had really good start into the match and took the double lead towards the end of the first halftime thanks to goals from Centurion in 42nd and Benedetto in 43rd minute.
Still, players of Olimpo didn't surrender and played much better in the second halftime, deserving maybe even more as they were much more concrete with the ball to their feet and managed to revert the scoreline and take a point, thanks to an own goal in 62nd and a goal from Cabral in 75th minute. Once Boca stood without two points, they tried to reply back and had some chances, but there was not enough time. Still, they remained undefeated for last five matches, and are leading the table with five points more than River Plate now surely taking the title this time.
Home team will be missing goalkeeper Guillermo Sara (12/0), defender Juan Manuel Insaurralde (19/1) and midfielder Sebastian Perez (12/0) all due injury problems.
Union de Santa Fe on the other side, didn't have much chances to stay undefeated in their previous game, as the team suffered quite easy 0:3 defeat in front of ownf ans against Independiente on Thursday night. However, it was a game where they didn't have much of competitive motive while the opponent was way more motivated and surely more quality.
This means that the outcome was probably even known before the game, however home players didn't look that interested either on the field. Ball possession between the opponents was shared, however with the visitors wanting the points more and being way more concrete with the ball to their feet - they took the lead in 33rd minute via Rigoni, sealing the victory with another goal from him in second halftime, in 65th minute, while Albertengo wrote the final 3:0 result in 80th minute - with the home team threatening very little. Union is in the safe middle of the table with 32 points and can't change much in the last round.
Visitors will be missing first choice goalkeeper Nereo Fernandez (27/0), but also defender Leonardo Sanchez (23/2), midfielder Guido Vadala (19/1) and forwards Nicolas Andereggen (12/0) and their top scorer Franco Soldano (20/6).
Guests are having some really important absentees this time and I don't see them being undefeated here. On contrary, Boca Juniors will want to celebrate the title in style here and I'm pretty sure they'll get the three points in an easy manner. Union is far away from a reliable team on the road and should be easily outplayed in this one.
