Angers vs Le Mans by Isaiah
Angers did not gave too much importance to the League Cup, and played with six changes to their lineup away to Auxerre, where they fairly lost with the score of 2-0. They played good only to the first half, while to the second they did not threat, so the winning streak halted in four games, but anyway certainly will not spoil their good image till now, as their main priority is the league.
Now they welcome Le Mans, where they have a good change to climb further to the league table. Midfielder Vincent Manceau is available, while main defender Marco Zoro and experienced striker Richard Socrier are still out. Their attacking line however, is strong and a quality one, with Claudiu Keseru and Ferebory Dore.
Le Mans came close to their third victory in a row, but they conceded a goal in 90th minute from Niort, and stayed to the final score of 2-2 at home. Niort were slightly better than Le Mans according to match reports, and the result is considered fair.
Georgian goalkeeper Makaridze is back to the team after two months but probably will stay on bench, while main midfielder Massire Kante, main striker Fousseyni Cisse, defender Khaled Adenon and mifielder Olivier Thomert are all out injured.
I think that Angers win is one of the good picks of this day. Except the League Cup, Angers is playing some very good football and taking results, while Le Mans despite they are for three matches undefeated, they got more than they actually shown, and their thin roster should start bringing them problems.
