AC Ajaccio vs Reims by Lucien
AC Ajaccio can't be fully satisfied with the start of the season, since the team didn't show their full potential and are currently in the second part of the table, having only three victories out of ten matches played. Furthermore, it's just four points below the relegation placed Orleans and the team really needs to dig deep in order to revert their chances around.
Still, even though they can't be happy with the start for now, the team barely avoided relegation previous season in last rounds of it, so no doubt that they might easily have the similar situation this season as well, even though they want to improve in comparison to previous season badly. In the previous game, they took a point in a home match against Brest, even though the visitors looked way more concrete during all ninety minutes. Both goals were scored in the second halftime, while the visitors failed to completely revert the things in their favor in last twenty minutes when they played with a man more following exclusion of defender Lippini, who now should not be able to play.
Reims, on the other side, could be completely satisfied with how the things are going for now, as they have only one defeat in first ten rounds, along with five victories and four draws. Such a record puts them at the first position together with Brest, which is two points more than fourth placed Lens and the team needs to continue performing with positive results in order to keep the promotional place.
The team relegated in previous season from Ligue 1, in the last moments of the season, so it's logical consequence that they will be one of the candidates to promote and that's their primary target. In the previous game they played, the team won easily over Auxerre at home with 3:0 result, scoring goals in 10th minute via Diego, while Weber in 63rd and Kyei in 84th minute added goals for their convincing and fully deserved victory. The team is yet to impress on the road, having four draws and one defeat and it's about right time for them to start showing the potential on the road as well.
Visitors will miss defender Samuel Bouhours (9/1), as well as midfielder Antoine Devaux (1/0) and forward Theoson Siebatcheu (5/0), plus couple of more players who anyway didn't play this season.
AC Ajaccio is far away from impressive side, while Reims surely have much more potential and overall, for sure much more quality individuals. Having that in mind, I'm completely sure that the visiting side would be able to give way better performance on the road and that they are closer to get the victory, even though the draw can't be excluded.
