Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth (By: Joey)

Hello!!

There is little to play for in the game but Crystal Palace will look to remain ahead of Bournemouth in the league table even after this final match of the season. Palace and Bournemouth are separated by just one point and it is a remarkable success for Roy Hodgson’s men. The first half of the season witnessed Bournemouth flying high in the table while Palace were struggling with the threat of relegation.

Crystal Palace were able to pick up a 3-2 victory over Cardiff City to send the team back into the Championship. This was the third successive away victory for Roy Hodgson’s men.

Bournemouth inflicted a major blow in Tottenham’s top four hopes after a 1-0 victory in the final minute of the game. Spurs were reduced to nine-men after just 48 minutes, but it required a late winner from Nathan Ake.

The Cherries were able to come up with a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at the Vitality Stadium earlier in the campaign. This was when Bournemouth were quite impressive. Palace, meanwhile, were involved in a 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park. My betting tips and predictions would go with a draw.

Crystal Palace have not been great when it comes to home matches with the team is struggling to get a strong set of results. The win over Huddersfield and Fulham, who were relegated, are the only successes for Crystal Palace when it comes to games at Selhurst Park since February. Meanwhile, Bournemouth have shown a lot of inconsistencies throughout the campaign and even struggled to beat a nine-man Spurs outfit until the last minute. My preview would pick a stalemate.
