New England Revolution vs Montreal Impact (By: Miyagi)
This is not expected to be an entertaining match with lots of chances in front of goals as two teams with not great ball movement and struggling offenses will face each other.
Montreal so far has played 7 of its 8 MLS games on the road and they might have the worst defensive record in the East with the 14 allowed goals but has to do with that 7-1 loss to Kansas as after that game they kept a clean sheet in 3 of their last 4, on the other hand, they have scored just 2 goals in their last 5 games.
New England on the other side has won just 2 of their 5 home games so far and those were the only games that they did score a goal. They have not been a joy to watch under national star ex-GK Brad Friedel's instructions over the last 1.5 seasons but they also never had too much quality n their roster.
Both teams ranked worst 5 in goals scored last season and both are struggling so far this season.
New England's current star Gil, who joined this season (February), has 3 goals in MLS but scored his last goal exactly one month ago and has been quiet in his last 5 games. Still, he is the most active and dangerous player for his team offensively, every attacking play goes through his legs and he leads the team in Shots (18), Shots on Goal (6) and Goals (3). Gil is also the main penalty taker and occasionally free kick taker.
In what looks to be an ugly game, it will take some special/ individual effort or a penalty (quite usual in MLS recently) to break the ties and Gil is the exactly that kind of player so, there is huge value at those odds.
