Houston Dynamo vs San Jose Earthquakes (By: Stanioooo)
This is a game from MLS between Houston Dynamo and San Jose Earthquakes.
Both teams started the new season in opposite directions. Houston have 3 wins and 1 draw in their 4 matches in MLS, while the visitors suffered four defeats(three were heavy with 3+goals), before taking a home win in the last round against Portland with 3:0.
What's similar for both of these clubs is the fact they know how to create goal chances and to score, especially Houston, but also their defenses are not amongst the best for sure.
H2H we very often see matches between them with so many goal opportunities and goals. During the last year they made 2:2 in Houston and 3:2 home win for San Jose. I doubt San Jose will take anything different tonight than a heavy loss- 0:3 against Minnesota, 0:5 against Los Angeles, 4:1 against Red Bulls- all these results don't speak good about their chances. Houston also had last two games full of goals- 3:2 against Vancouver and 1:4 against Colorado.
Bird(midfielder), Cabezas(midfielder) and DaMarcus Beasley(left back) are injured for the hosts, but they are without minutes since the start of the season, while Romell Quioto(midfielder) is doubtful. Kevin Partida is injured for San Jose, while doubtful are Guram Kashia(defender-very important centre back) and Judson(def.midfielder).
Both teams rely a lot on their attacking players- Elis, Memo Rodriguez and Mauro Manotas for the hosts, while the visitors rely mostly on Cristian Espinoza, Valeri Qazaishvili and Danny Hoesen. San Jose may have a poor start of the season, but they know how to score against Houston and I have a feeling this one will be a battle with goal/s in both nets. Still Houston is my favorite to beat San Jose- something like 3:1 or 4:1 for the hosts! Love my chances with over 3.5 goals here.
