Copenhagen vs Hobro (By: Stanioooo)

Last round of the regular season in Denmark Superligaen before the teams separate into championship and relegation group and here we have a match between the leaders Copenhagen and the second weakest team in the table Hobro.

In comparison with the last season when Copenhagen were so disappointing and they often lost points against even the weakest sides in the league, this season the situation in the club looks much better and they are in the title race together with Midtjylland. Copenhagen still have 1 point advantage, so I am confident they will go into this game with the only thought of securing the three points. Their stats at home are reliable enough- 10W-1D-1L and when we take that the draw was three weeks ago against Vendsyssel (1:1) in a match where Copenhagen had over 20 shots, half of them on target, so they are required not to fail here and to finish the regular season with a win. Hobro have stats as visitors 0W-4D-8L with GD 9:23, so it's not looking like they will be big threat for Copenhagen's forwards.

Andreas Bjelland(def) will miss this game for the hosts, while Rasmus Falk(mid) and Pieros Soteriou(forward) are doubtful. The visitors will miss the important defender Mathias Haarup who is suspended, Frans Putros(def), Yaw Amankwah(def), Danny Olsen(midfielder) and Alexander Baun(midfielder).

First game during the season in Hobro finished 0:3 for Copnehagen, so I expect another easy win for the leaders in the league. -1.5 AH for the hosts is a reasonable pick for me.

FCK is better on all positions. However there is something to keep in mind before you expect them to walk over their opponent in this fixture.

First of all of Rasmus Falk does not play their offense becomes pridictable. They will not have any creative plays through the middle without him. He is far more important that you might think at first glance. They will have to rely on the wings.

Secondly they only have two good centerbacks. If Bjelland is out Sotirios will play instead. He is clueless and poor beyond belief. His plays are unsafe and every touch on the ball seems a gamble. I wouldnt be surprised If he does something stupid and costs a goal. That markes 3 goals from the flank needed by FCK to win this bet. Lets hope Robert Skov is up for it. Viktor Fischer might soon find some form and seal this bet as well, so you are not without chances. It's just not going to be as simple as the odds might suggest.

@Joey

But Rasmus Falk is pointed as doubtful for this game, it doesn't mean he will not take part in the game. And you forget about Dame N"Doye. He is a player who can also score for the hosts after corners or killer passes/long balls infront and so on. I think Copenhagen have enough front power to score two, three or even more times today against Hobro which team has defensive problems. It depends how focused they will be :))

^ I meant to say "if" Rasmus Falk does not play. I made a typo writing of. I'm sure the most intelligent of readers could figure that out.

Anyway… Falk is in the starting line up, so FCK will win this game easily I think, if Sotirios Papagiannopoulos does not ruin it for everyone.

I am little bit tired today, Joey, didn't read it correctly.

Well, Copenhagen's starting like-up looks pretty good, let's hope to be focused and to score quite a few times, enough to cover the handicap.
