Stirling vs Albion Rovers (By: TFB)
Scotland League Two
A match-up that every bettor dreams of. The form side with everything to play for on home soil against the down and out side that are a certainty to finish bottom of the league. Stirling Albion welcome Albion Rovers to the Forthbank Stadium in what should be a straight forward victory for the home side.
Stirling have been on the up every since they changed manager after a surprisingly dreadful start to the season. Especially after nearly achieving promotion last season. Kevin Rutkiewicz has somehow managed to re-kindle last season form and also last season form of their top scorer, Darren Smith. Smith scored 22 goals last season and has finally kicked into gear with 7 in his last 9 outings.
Stirling have only lost once in their last 12 fixtures, against Peterhead, the best side in the league.
Now Albion, routed to the bottom with just 7 points and 1 win all season, ironically against Stirling, are probably the worst ever side in Scottish football league history. With just 2 away points all season it seems a little far fetched to see them get something here. I guess their only hope is that Stirling struggle with the cold Tuesday night in Stirling situation but they should still win. They played at Albion a few weeks ago and Stirling won 5-0.
