Everton vs Bournemouth
Everton suffered narrow 0:1 defeat at home against Leicester, in quite a defensive game where the hosts had much more of the ball possession, but the Foxes were more concrete. As for the FA Cup, Everton managed to overpower Lincoln 2:1 at home and secure the progress further last weekend.
Bournemouth comes from a very interesting 3:3 game at home against Watford, with all six goals being scored inside the first halftime. The hosts were better in the second halftime, but simply paid the price of poor defending inside the first halftime. The side got outplayed by Brighton in FA Cup at home 1:3.
The hosts are able to field their strongest XI here. The visiting side continues to miss injured left back Smith (12/1), right back Francis (17/0), midfielder Cook (13/0). They also have forwards King (18/5) and Wilson (20/9) doubtful for the moment.
Neither of the teams is really in a good form at the moment, but I see this game as a perfect chance for the hosts to improve. It's time for them to respond in front of own fans, meanwhile, Bournemouth doesn't seem like a really dangerous side away from home, especially not when offensive players are far from the desired fitness level.
