Ipswich Town vs Rotherham (By: Shibby)

Championship action for me again in a game that will see Rotherham United visit Portman Road where Ipswich Town will host the Millers. The kick off will be at 15:00 UK time.

The home side have had a really tough season so far and currently lie at bottom of the table on 15 points from 26 league games. they've managed just 2 wins from the 26 games, 9 draws and 15 defeats. the challenges they've faced is putting the ball in the net. They've scored just 21 goals, only Bolton have less than that.

Ipswich last won on the 15th December when they beat Wigan 1-0 at Portman Road. Since then they've drawn 1 (1-1 vs Sheffield United) and lost 4 (Boro, QPR, Millwall and Accrington in the cup). Their confidence is low and they need to sign players in this window. They have brought in ex West Ham defender James Collins in defence and he should be in line to make him debut. He will add stability to their defence but doesn't add fire power up top.

Ipswich at home have the worst record in the league, they have won just one game and drawn 7. Home form in this league is vital. Manager Paul Lambert seems to be making progress in terms of his squad but will they have had time to work together.

The visitors head into the game on the back of a cup defeat also, they were smashed by Premier League Champions manchester City. The game ended 7-0 and they were just a class above The Millers! Every pass they made was perfect and The Millers shouldn't take too many negatives from the result. Man city then went on to beat Burton 9-0 in the cup too a few days later so i think manager Paul Warne will get this out of their head as quickly as possible.

prior to the cup game, Rotherham won Preston 2-1 at the New York Stadium. Their performance wasn't the best but the result was massive and gave the Millers a much needed 3 points. Rotherham do have the worst away record in the league (vs the worst home record). So this should be set for a tough stalemate.

I personally think this game will end in a draw, however, I believe The Millers will see this as a huge game vs the bottom club, a game that they could win. I think the odds of Rotherham or Draw is very good at 1.70. This covers to possible outcomes and the 2 most likely ones in my opinion. If you feel brave go for odds of the draw which is more around the 3.25.

Good luck all.
