Valenciennes vs Sochaux (By: Alcuni)

Valenciennes - Sochaux

Valenciennes were involved in many high scoring games being the team with one of the highest averages of goal per match in first 19 rounds (tied with Orleans - 2.84). Scoring 22 time and conceding 32 (the highest number of conceded goal ties with Red Star) made from Valenciennes a nice team to watch most of the time. But this is not enough in collecting points, Valenciennes being for the moment on play-out spot with 17 points. Is true they have one game in hand (vs LeHavre) and can climb one or two position in table, but overall was another disappointing season for Valenciennes. Privat left the team in this winter and other 2 wants to leave; nothing come in yet but few loans are expected. They are still having problems with DNCG for next season but they hope to pass this checking. Dabo and Robail are injured and miss here.

Sochaux have ended the partnership with Alaves after some poor evolutions in first part of the season. They finished on 16th spot in the table with 20 points having 11 defeats in 19 games. The Spaniard coach J.M. Aira was sacked, instead of him being appointed Daf who took 2 wins and lost once so far. But also, some contradictories results in his short period, Sochaux clearly losing at rock bottom Red Star 0-3 but won in last game at home versus Lorient 1-0, despite in both games had problems with players suspended. After the end of 2018 the Spanish players started to leave Sochaux so far Galilea and Sanchez, but others leaving are expected. Nothing comes in until now. Demirovic is suspended while Pedant and Antonio Gomez are missing.

Traditionally an open game when played here. Maybe is the case for tomorrow game to, so I’ll take over 2.5 gl.
