Feyenoord vs VVV Venlo

HUGE problems for VVV. Maurce Steijn will miss 6 players for the match against Feyenoord.

Danny Post, Roel Janssen, Patrick Joosten en Tristan Dekker are not fit. Christian Kum was sick and barely trained with the group while Peter van Ooijen is suspended.

Steijn:,, I do not wanna sound pathetic, but this is the worst possible scenario for us. Especially since we had a fit squad for the first game ( this game was going to be played a few weeks before but there was a light failure in the stadium ).''

VVV is having another great start of the season. Indeed, very similair to last season. You have to give credit to their manager Maurice Steijn who is doing great things with limited resources. Especially since their best two players Leemans and Van Crooij both left VVV for PEC Zwolle this summer.

Feyenoord coming from a HUGE win against PSV. Indeed, i was on PSV +0 and i just said to myself what a terrible bet it was after the first half as feyenoord played the match of the season. A lot of movement and high pressure on PSV caused the leaders all kind of problems. However, They spent so much energy that the second half was totallly different as PSV had to score the 2-2. So in the end it was another bad beat. It had also to do with Jorgensen ( their main striker ) and Clasie who left the game due to injuries.

Jorgensen is out for today while Clasie is back in the squad. Eric Botteghin remains out, but Van persie is back as well and according to Gio Van Bronckhorst it is likely that Van Persie will make some minutes. He or Vente will start instead of Jorgensen.

I expect trouble for VVV with those missings, especially if Feyenoord will storm from the start like they did against PSV. And hence the first half win here.
