West Ham vs Cardiff

After their negative experience at home against the Citizens, players of West Ham improved and surprised with far better performance away to Newcastle taking a 3:0 win. They were far more concrete than the opponents, being as effective as possible in a game that completely went in their favor with two goals from Chicharito and a late goal from Anderson.

Cardiff now certainly improved their atmosphere and chances to avoid the relegation with two consecutive home victories, firstly against Brighton and most recently, a 2:1 win over Wolves. Still, could be said that their win over Wolves wasn't completely deserved, but the guests paid the price of being too passive in the second half when having the lead.

Right back Fredericks (4/0) is injured, as well as midfielder Sanchez (5/0) and offensive Yarmolenko (9/2) for the Hammers. The guests miss left-back Bennett (9/0), but most likely also another left back Cunningham (4/0) and forward Zohore (6/0).

  • West Ham have won their last 6 matches against Cardiff.
  • West Ham now has a great chance to detach themselves further away from the red zone having currently six points more. This game seems to be coming in a perfect moment for them against not that reliable visitors who showed close to nothing so far on the road.

The problem with “ West Ham “ is consistency, they beat a high calibr team like Man U at home than go and lose 0-1 to Brighton, they’ve been like this the whole season. They beat a good team than go and lose to a mediocre team, for this reason i’m giving this one a mis but good luck to all 🙏
