San Marino vs Belarus
That's a match from League D between San Marino and Belarus, which is very important for the guests.
It's normal that San Marino have 0 points and are last in the group together with Moldova and Luxembourg. They are the weakest European side for sure and they proved it in a group only with teams closer to their potential without any top teams. Still we can see that the gap even between them is huge after they've got 0:14 goal difference one round before the end.
Belarus are on the other side. In the last round they earned priceless victory against Luxembourg as guests and now even a point will be enough for the team for claim the 1st place and the promotion to League C. Well, it's obvious Belarus will not play for a draw against such an opponent. In the last game against Luxembourg they gave an excellent performance, especially in the 1st half, when they totally outplayed their opponent and after a goal by Stanislav Dragun Belarusians took the lead. That was by far their best half as quality- much possession, shots and the most important- they scored a goal. In the beginning of the 2nd half they scored second one again by Dragun and until the end they just kept the result. If they repeat similar performance as this one against San Marino, the final result could turn into a catastrophe for the hosts. Alexander Hleb and Stanislav Dragun were just priceless and as this is the last match for Hleb in the national team, I am sure he will be on high level once again. The match is also important for the visitors, so I don't expect the coach to make more than one or two changes with the team that played three days ago.
In their first game in Belarus, Belarusians had over 30 shots and half of them were on target. Infact San Marino had to be happy of the final 5:0, because it had to be much bigger as a result. San Marino will miss for this game their regular goalkeeper Aldo Simoncini, Cristian Brolli(DF), Alex Gasperoni(MF), Mattia Stefanelli(FW) and Matteo Vitaioli(FW). Belarus will be without Mikhail Gordeichuk, Nikita Korzun and Renan Bressan.
I will not surprise anyone if I say that I expect Belarus to win this match to nill. Of course the odds are too small, about 1.30 for such an outcome, so I fould something very tempting in the selection 'Special' for this game. It's Belarus to win both halves- for ex: 0:1 HT/ 0:2 FT. I expect Belarus to start storming from the beginning looking for the victory and to score one or two times during the first 45 minutes. San Marino always receive goal/s during the 2nd half, so it's normal Belarus to score also at least one time in the 2nd part of the match. With the likes of players like Stanislav Dragun and Hleb in the midfield+ attacking minded players like Savitskiy, Stasevich and Pavel Siroka I doubt they will have any problems to win once against with difference of at least two/three goalsand claim the top spot.
