Los Angeles FC vs Real Salt Lake

MLS play-offs continue with Los Angeles FC hosting Real Salt Lake at the Banc of California Stadium.

This is LA's first season in the MLS and they have been nothing short of fantastic. Expansion sides don't usually make the play-offs, let alone host a play-off game! They actually have a good side and have players with Premier League experience such as Carlos Vela and Adama Diomande. Bob Bradley is also an experienced coach having previously managed the national side.

On home soil they've suffered just 1 defeat against MLS Cup contenders Sporting Kansas City. In total their home record reads 12-9-1 throughout the regular season.

Their opponents, Real Salt Lake, are very fortunate to be in the play-offs. They were at the mercy of LA Galaxy where a win for LA would have seen Real Salt Lake drop out of the play-offs.

Luckily for them this is the MLS and despite LA Galaxy leading 2-0 on home soil after an hours play they managed to throw their whole season away in the final 30 minutes and lost 3-2 against Houston.

This has been a great season for RSL and even if they lose here this will go down as a great season. Unfortunately they aren't great travelers and despite recent back-to-back away victories they have only 1 away win since August 2017.

Should be an LA win in 90.
