Turkey vs Bosnia-Herzegovina
Turkey didn't seem like an in-form side or a side with a good atmosphere when the UEFA Nation's League started this September, however, the team found a way to respond in the best possible manner and somehow get a much-needed victory away from home against Sweden with a 3:2 result in the second round.
Things didn't look that bright for them at the start either since the Swedish team had the double lead after 49th-minute thanks to goals from Thelin and Claesson. Everything changed with a goal from Calhanoglu in the 51st minute, since the Turks were better until the end.
Maybe a bit lucky, but they came out to a victory thanks to two late goals from Akbaba - late and maybe lucky - but not undeservedly. It was important three-pointer after their first-round loss against Russia and they are again in contention for the first place there.
Comparing to other few call-ups, goalkeeper Volkan Babacan (Istanbul Basaksehir), defenders Omer Toprak (Dortmund), midfielders Emre Akbabaa (Galatasaray), Serdar Gurler (Huesca) and forward Umut Bulut (Kayserispor) are missing for this one.
Some improvement was seen in Bosnia & Herzegovina since Prosinecki took the charge of the team. They started the UEFA Nations League in a really good manner with a victory on the road against Northern Ireland 1:2. They acted really smart back then early in September, but also had to be said were threatening only via counter-attacks and have been lucky at some points of the match.
Just a couple of days later, they welcomed Austria and took narrow 1:0 victory which now puts them not only at the top of the table but also making them real favorites to win the group. Dzeko scored the only goal in the 78th minute in quite a defensive match that didn't bring many chances for either of the sides.
Visitors will miss defenders Sead Kolasinac (Arsenal), Ermin Bicakcic (Hoffenheim) and forward Smail Prevljak (Red Bull Salzburg) in comparison to previous few call-ups.
Bosnia & Herzegovina look totally fine now under coach Prosinecki and they should be eager to continue such momentum. Turks have also reverted the momentum in their atmosphere with a previous victory away to Sweden. Now being a friendly game, I definitely see the visiting team being very concrete in offense and with a lot of threatening situation. Both teams to score seems like a perfect choice for this clash, at least in my eyes.
