Salford vs Maidstone (By: TFB)

The English National League is back after a round of mid-week fixtures. Salford welcome Maidstone United to Manchester.

Salford City, who are owned by Gary Neville, Paul Scholes & Ryan Giggs to name a few, are a newly promoted side to the National League and are already favourites to lift the title come May 2019. Currently lying in 9th place, they have slowly climbed the league table since their tricky start of 1 point from their first 3 games. They are since unbeaten in their last 6 games and have won their last 3 home matches against Halifax, Chesterfield and Barrow scoring 8 goals in the process.

Salford somehow managed to sign Adam Rooney from Aberdeen in the summer and he is far too good for this league after scoring over 50 goals for Aberdeen. He has started as expected scoring 7 from his 9 games. It's hard to believe he won't finish top scorer and could be the reason why Salford get promoted if they were to do so this season.

Maidstone are not a powerhouse in the National League and for the 3rd season in a row will likely be trying to avoid relegation. They lost their mid-week game at home to Sutton United, their 4th loss in a row, and now have a long journey north to Manchester lacking confidence.

in this game i will go with the over 2.5 goals at odds 1.9 because i think we will see minimum 3 goals easily in here.
the home team, Salford City, in her 4 home games ended 3 with over 2,5 goals when they scored 9 goals and conceded 5, average of 3.5 goals per a game.
the away team, Maidstone, in her 4 away games, ended 3 with over 2.5 goals when they scored 4 goals and conceded 8, average of 3 goals per a game.
i believe that Salford will win this game 2-1 or even maybe 3-1 so over 2.5 goals will be ok here.
