Houston vs Los Angeles FC (By: TFB)
The MLS returns for another round as a well rested Houston Dynamo entertain Los Angeles FC at the BBVA Compass Stadium.
Houston are generally strong at home and they have demonstrated that recently by winning their last 4 MLS home games scoring 13 in the process. Barring a friendly this is Dynamo' first match in over a week and they have very few absentees. Eric Alexander will be missing but that's irrelevant when you have Colombian and Hondoruss's's's legends available in Manotas and Elis. These big boys have 16 goals between them and it wouldn't be a surprise to see at least one of them add to their totals in this match.
LAFC are a new expansion side in the MLS and have really impressed so far this season. They currently lie 3rd in the Western Conference with a game in hand over leaders Kansas City and will overtake them and top the Conference if they beat Houston.
LA have scored 22 goals from their 9 away games so you don't need to be a genius to work out that's over 2 goals per game on average on the road. Diomande, who they signed from Hull City has smashed the MLS since arriving and he has 7 goals from his last 4 games.
So basic mathematics suggest we will see at least 3 goals in this game.
