Girona vs Valencia (By: Stanioooo)

Girona host Valencia in a match which looks like with no importance for both clubs. Girona are far away from the 6th place which gives participation in EL, while Valencia are 4th in the table, 5 points behind Real Madrid and it should happen a miracle to take the 3rd place and the 5th in the table is far away behind them.

Both teams are not in their best form, but recently Valencia had really difficult games especially on the road against teams like Barcelona, Celta and Villareal. Before that they showed they can beat much weaker sides like Leganes, Malaga, Deportivo and Espanyol, even Sevilla was their victim on the road. Girona had amazing fun during the winter with 6 home wins in a row without a conceded goal, but recently they struggle a lot and lost their last 3 home games. The worst was the last one against Eibar, when they were totally outplayed and lost 1:4.

First match between them at Mestalla finished 2:1 for Valencia. Someone has to stop its negative results here, I'm sure we will see a winner in this match and in my eyes much closer are Valencia. They have so much potential, while Girona look really exhausted after the long season, which was better than expected for them sitting in the 1st part of the table. Both teams have one really important absentee here- Portu is out for the home team, while Dani Parejo is out for the visitors. Still think Valencia class is much bigger and will make double against their opponent this season. I don't know why but really prefer to play Valencia when they are visitors in comparison with the matches when they are hosts.
