Man. United vs Watford

Its the final round of the Premier League season as Manchester United host Watford at Old Trafford.

United have theoretically already secured 2nd place. Some would say they need a point, which they do, but it's unlikely they will lose to both West Ham AND Watford. Its largely expected this single point will come at the Olympic Stadium on Thursday night which renders the game against Watford irrelevant.

Strangely the Red Devils are huge favourites to beat the Hornets and under usual circumstances they would be but if neither side have anything to play for you could see a relaxed match played out or you could even see Watford have a real go as they have nothing to lose.

One thing is certain, United will have their eyes set firmly on the FA Cup final at Wembley the following weekend so a full strength United at full tilt is highly unlikely considering 2nd place will likely be secured by kick-off. Plus Chelsea isn't a side to take lightly and any chance to rest first team players will be taken. Why take the risk after all?

Chelsea still have 4th place to play for so they could well have a huge game away at Newcastle at the same time, Mourinho could see some rotation giving his side some sort of edge next weekend.

With United's priority being the FA Cup and Watford's potential 'have a go' attitude we could see a close game to close out the season at Old Trafford.

Just remember this is the opportunity for Man U players to impress and have a place on the team for the FA cup final as Mourinho has always said. The final is a good seven days away so no need to rest anyone and besides, Watford are poor on the road, no away goal in like forever. United to win easy for me. Goodluck.

Yew You are right but ... Against Brighton Rashford and Martial also got a chance to show up, finally they played on nominated position, their position and failed big time.
Of course at Old Trafford RedDevils is obligated to win but won't happen so easy like odds suggest.

It`s Michael Carrick`s last game for united, they will ruin Watford. I say it`s an easy ManUtd win&both to score!
Good luck!
