Arsenal vs Burnley
Arsenal host Burnley at Emirates in their last home game and Wenger's last match in front of Arsenal's audience.
Strangely or not this looks like a battle for the 6th place. A lot of people were laughing at Arsenal that they are always 4th in the league, but that season the final outcome is even worse. Arsenal are at 6th position with 3 points more than Burnley which team is 7th in the league, so Arsenal don't have to lose this match for sure if they don't want to have extra troubles after they were eliminated by Atletico Madrid in EL a few days ago.
The atmosphere in Arsenal will not be the best for sure after the poor match they played in Madrid and the elimination in EL. That trophy was the main priority for Wenger to save the season, but Arsenal missed it and it looks like they will play one more year in EL, which don't suit good to such a big England club with a lot of tradition and glory. Maybe Wenger will rest some of the players who played on Thursday night, but that doesn't mean this will weaken their team. Lacazette and Aubameyang are expected to start in attack and such a duo can score even to the best clubs in England a bunch of goals. It depends how accurate will be Arsenal players in the final third of the pitch, they will have a lot of situations to score for sure. But we don't have to underestimate Burnley. They are one of the best away sides in the league and love to score goals even as visitors.
Burnley's team don't have big names in the squad, players like Hazard, Aguero, Silva, Mata or something like that, but they are really collective team and they can rely on everyone to score. Sam Vokes and Ashley Barnes are the main threats as forwards, but they are always perfectly supported by the midfield players like Lennon, Wood, Cork or Westwood. Nick Pope(GK) performs very well during the whole season and I won't be surprised if one of the best teams in England buy him during the summer.
Arsenal will miss Koscielny, which is a big blow for their defense, together with Elneny and Cazorla, while Burnley will be without Brady and Defour. Jonathan Walters, Chris Wood, Ben Mee and Scott Arfield are all douftful.
Last two games against Burnley at Emirates finished 2:1 for Arsenal. I won't give a pick here for the winner, because I'm concerned about Arsenal performance in defense without Koscielny and also their starting line up, how fresh it will be and what will be the mood in the team. At least I expect BTTS here. I have no doubt Arsenal will use one of their chances to score and also Burnley to score is more than possible when we know they scored away even against both Manchester giants. This pick has a lot of value- max stake here!
