Waterford vs Sligo Rovers
Waterford come into this game against Sligo Rovers fresh off an EA Sports Cup victory over Cork City.
Waterford have an unbeaten record at the RSC this season winning all 6 of their home games. This run includes beating Cork City, Shamrock Rovers and Derry City all by the scoreline of 2-1 so they should fancy their chances against one of the lesser sides in the league.
The Waterford cup match did go the distance so fatigue could be an issue but they have had suspension and injury problems for the last few weeks so this could negate that as they won't have the problem of their players playing week-in week-out.
Pretty much everyone is back and fit apart from maybe John Kavanagh so Reynolds will have a strong squad to pick from.
Sligo are currently 8th out of 10 and to be fair this is likely where they will finish. They don't have the squad to challenge the big teams in Ireland but they shouldn't get relegated.
Sligo could have injury problems with a few of their regulars carrying knocks. Top scorer Adam Morgan, Seamus Sharkey and Rhys McCabe are doubtful because of injury. Goalkeeper Michael Schlingermann and arguably their best player David Cawley are definitely out. Captain Kyle Callan-McFadden returns from injury.
